SOMA Engineering

The wayfinding project for SOMA Engineering stands as one of our most comprehensive implementations. We began by marking the building with prominent 3D logos—one measuring 14 meters and another smaller one at 9 meters. During the design process, we meticulously addressed proportions and aesthetics to ensure the logos complemented the building’s dimensions and exuded a representative appearance.

A key interior task involved creating a visual differentiation and coding system for the various production halls. We developed a Color Coding System (CCS) combined with letter designations, which was further applied to detailed signage within each hall.

Additionally, we designed code signage for easy navigation across 76 positions in each hall, significantly simplifying the localization of specific items. The signage was thoughtfully designed, produced, and installed to be clear without visually disrupting the production spaces. For the first hall, we also created a special signage design for eight key product assembly positions.

In the subsequent phase, we focused on the internal wayfinding system—designing directional and identification signage, later supplemented with informational and regulatory signs.

In 2024, the expansion of the production facility necessitated the development and testing of new outdoor signage, which is currently being installed. Concurrently, we updated and enhanced the interior signage—introducing new, more flexible variants and completing their full installation.

The project with SOMA Engineering demonstrates that our work extends beyond mere signage design. We actively participate in the development of wayfinding systems, emphasizing simplicity, clarity, and comprehensibility in every communication.
